Well known as one of the best football grounds in the city, this is exactly where the Hero Indian Super League is held. This is one of the largest football grounds in the city, where every year numerous championships are held. The ground is surrounded by a number of trees which makes it a peaceful and serene location. Also, it is situated in the posh locality of Colaba. The place has three lawns, spread over a whopping 69000 square feet, which can accommodate up to 5000 guests in totality. Each individual lawn can easily accommodate 1000-1300 guests. This venue has seen some of the finest weddings in Mumbai, like that of Krishna Bhupal (G V K Reddy’s grandson) & Dia Mehta and the like. However, in case you have finalized this place as your wedding location, keep in mind to make your bookings at least six months in advance.

3.     The Pier at Bombay Presidency Radio Club:

Ever dreamt of having a romantic wedding at the pier, like those Hollywood movies? But also want the wedding to take place in your hometown? Well, fret not, because we have found just the location for you! The Pier at the Bombay Presidency Radio Club is one of the most romantic locations to have your wedding at! It overlooks the backwaters and Gateway of India and is known as one of the most beautiful locations. The Pier is a sea-facing location and the heritage monument as its backdrop. It can accommodate around 1000-1200 guests conveniently. It is a cozy space right in the middle of the Arabian Sea. However, there is an issue with booking this location; one needs to be a member of the Club or must know an immediate member. Bookings need to be made about six months in advance.

4.     The NSCI Indoor Stadium:

The stadium is located right opposite Haji Ali Dargah and boasts of all the amenities to host a big, fat Indian wedding. It’s a relatively new venue, but comparable to the turf club in many respects. Various weddings have been held at this enormous venue. The Stadium can easily accommodate up to 3000 people at a time. Also, you need to be a member or know one of the members of the NSCI Club to book the stadium.

5.     The Turf Club:

This one of the oldest and most sought after locations in Mumbai. It has so happened that people have tried booking it a year in advance and still haven’t been able to get a reservation. The Turf Club consists 3 different lawns for holding your wedding, which includes First Enclosure, Second Enclosure, and Members Enclosure. These are the famous derby grounds in Mumbai. One of the iconic grand weddings held here was that of Tanushree Dhoot (Videocon family) & Vivek Biyani (Future Group & Big Bazaar family) It has so happened that people have tried booking the venue a year in advance and still have not been able to book the venue!
